    Eggwork is the creative collaboration between writer/director, Matthew Ehlers, and writer/producer, Todd Nielsen. We are visual communications specialists serving the marketing, advertising and educational needs of corporate clients around the globe. Eggwork has worked with agencies (large and small) from New York to San Francisco. We also work directly with corporate clients to create, polish and produce their visual messaging projects. We specialize in commercials, promotional spots, branded content, and demonstration videos.   • Matthew Ehlers

    After graduating USC Cinema, Matthew created public service commercials for the American Cancer Society & Shipping Dock Theatre, the latter featuring Philip Seymour Hoffman. His short films Lunch, Autobank, & Who’s Your Daddy were all official selections to the Sundance Film Festival and broadcast by networks such as The Sundance Channel, HBO, & IFC. Matthew wrote and directed a web series for Comedy Central, Cappers, which aired on their show, AtomTV. He also created a cartoon series, Animungus, for the Cartoon Network show, Sunday Pants. In 2002, he was a finalist in the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival. In 2005, Matthew was commissioned by Made Up North Productions in Manchester, UK to write the screenplay for their feature project, Jump. His first feature film, Smoking Laws, was represented at the American Film Market by PUSH Worldwide & is currently being distributed by Scanbox Entertainment in the UK. He has recently directed commercials for Birkenstock, Hard Rock Café & Walmart. Matthew currently resides in New York City.

  • Todd Nielsen

    Before co-producing the feature film Smoking Laws in 2006, Todd lead creative teams in the corporate marketing world for more than 10 years. Since joining forces with Matthew Ehlers to form Eggwork, LLC, Todd has Produced narrative content for Comedy Central, and several commercials for our agency clients, including spots for the Hard Rock Café, and Jabra (consumer electronics). Todd leads Eggwork’s Marketing and Business Development efforts, and has completed two feature length screenplays. He is a successfully “recovering” attorney with a degree from Southern Methodist University.
